ASK A MEGO
One of the new features this month is ASK A MEGO. With all the talk about TV Land showing episodes of the 1970's Filmation show SHAZAM!, and the debate over who the better Captain Marvel was, we decided to go to the source. Your publisher decided to send a quick e-mail to Jackson Bostwick just for the fun of it. The Big Red Cheese was kind enough to reply, and here's the very limited contents of the discourse.

Mr. Bostwick,
I saw your website and wanted to ask a quick question. Do you collect the Mego
Captain Marvel action figure, and although the likeness may not be specifically
of you, is it fun to have an action figure based on a character you played on
TV? I collect the Mego 8 inch action figures which hit their height of
popularity when you were portraying the 'big red cheese' and entertaining me on
Saturday mornings.
I am a web developer and wanted to tell you that you did a very nice job on your
site. I enjoy watching your old episodes on their current run. I forgot how
much I was influenced by the show as a kid. Thanks for your time and best
wishes.
Regards,
Paul Clare

Hi Paul,
I think I have a couple of Mego figures, as well as the figure that was in my
likeness.
Thanks for the kind words about my website.
Yes, life is always full of little surprises.
All the best for the New Year!

another Captain Marvel fan)
I want to thank Mr. Bostwick for his taking the time to be our first featured guest on ASK A MEGO, even though I don't think he was actually aware I would be featuring him here, mainly since I didn't decide to do this until I actually received his reply. I will be searching the nether regions of cyberspace to bring you the next installment of ASK A MEGO. Who knows who could be next, Antonio Fargas, Gil Gerard, you never know who might pop in to ASK A MEGO!
